In a nutshell, having an executive coach is like having a strategic thinking partner. I provide a confidential space for leaders to process the mental and emotional load they carry, navigate difficult decisions, gain perspective, and lead with greater clarity and intention.

There are a lot of leadership coaches and speakers out there. What makes my approach different is that I bring together three perspectives that don't often exist in the same person: educator, entrepreneur, and leadership practitioner.
Before becoming a coach, I spent years teaching, building businesses, leading teams, and co-founding a nonprofit organization. I've experienced the uncertainty, difficult decisions, burnout, and people challenges that many leaders face firsthand. I also hold a Master's degree focused on leadership and organizational behavior, so my work is grounded in research rather than trends or personal opinion.
Perhaps most importantly, I don't believe leadership development is about becoming a perfect leader. I believe it's about becoming a more aware one. My work helps leaders better understand themselves, navigate complexity with greater intention, and create healthier relationships with the people they lead. The goal isn't to give you all the answers. It's to help you ask better questions, make better decisions, and show up more effectively in the moments that matter most.

Yes! I am located in Columbus, Ohio, and can meet in person with local folks. However, I meet clients virtually all over the country via Zoom.
-
Yes. While some organizations bring me in for a single keynote or workshop, many choose to extend the work through leadership cohorts, team coaching, executive coaching, retreats, or a series of workshops over time. These longer-term partnerships allow leaders to apply what they're learning, receive ongoing support, and create lasting change.

Because every client and organization has different goals, I don't offer one-size-fits-all packages. Executive coaching, leadership workshops, retreats, and speaking engagements can vary significantly in scope, audience size, level of customization, and duration.
After a brief conversation about your needs, I'll provide a clear proposal with recommended options and pricing. My goal is to create an experience that fits your objectives, rather than asking you to fit into a pre-designed package.
-
Absolutely. While I am based in Columbus, Ohio, I work with organizations across the country both virtually and in person.
Some clients bring me in for a single keynote or workshop, while others engage me as a longer-term partner for leadership development, retreats, coaching, or multi-session programs. Every engagement is customized based on your goals, audience, and desired outcomes.

Executive coaching shares some similarities with consulting, mentoring, and therapy, which is why the lines can sometimes feel blurry.
A consultant is typically hired to solve a specific business problem, while a mentor draws from their own experiences to provide guidance and advice. Therapy often focuses on mental health, healing, and understanding patterns that may be impacting the present.
My coaching approach is best described as a strategic thinking partnership. I help leaders process challenges, navigate difficult decisions, strengthen self-awareness, and think more clearly about the people and organizational dynamics they face. Depending on the situation, I may ask thoughtful questions, share frameworks and tools, offer observations, or provide practical recommendations drawn from my own experience and expertise.
The goal isn't simply to solve today's problem. It's to help leaders develop the awareness, judgment, and skills needed to navigate future challenges with greater confidence and effectiveness.
